Iron Man Rocks!!!

I just watched Iron Man this weekend and it rocked!  The movie is absolutely the best movie I have seen in the last year!  Although I loved the Transformer movie, Iron Man seriously tops it on the superhero movies.   With the advance movie making technology, they are now able to bring all kinds of cool comics to life.  Perhaps the difference is that the Iron Man movie felt real and focused on the man behind the iron mask.

This is my favorite Robert Downey Jr. movie in the last decade.  While I always thought he was a great actor, this movie really brought out his brilliance…at least to me.  The casting was perfect.  The movie was fast pace and easy to follow.  Both sophisticated and simple.  This is Jon Favreau’s best movie!  Before this movie, I was not impress by his earlier movies.

Porky meets Tanner, a mini him

Erika and her Boston Terrier Tanner came into the store for a Buddy Belt, toys, and other goodies. Porky helped out as usual by demonstrating how the Buddy Belt works. Since Tanner could not wear his new Buddy Belt (it was stain guarded and needed 24hrs to dry), we could not get pics of him in his new harness. Hopefully, his Mom Erika will email us pictures. Porky had a blast hanging out and playing with Tanner. They made a splash (literally), played tug of war, and were best friends instantly. We can’t wait for him to come back and visit us!

Beyonce and Jay Z Crazy in Love in Houston

We went to the Houston Rockets versus Phoenix Suns game here in Houston at the Toyota Center and apparently so was Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z. This is the weekend right after they supposedly got married. Both were having a wonderful time at the game and I noticed they were drinking champagne after half time. They were sitting next to recent Hall of Fame and Ex-Rocket player Hakeen Olajawon and the owner of the Houston Rockets team.

I am a big fan of Steve Nash but had to cheer for the Rockets since we live here in Houston. I am starting to really like Luis Scola.

Pug Hair Shedding - Scary

It’s that time of the year again. Spring brings us new bright fashions and of course, the allergies and pet shedding. We vacuum every week or other week. Believe it or not, this is only a half week’s worth. The Puggies have been shedding like monsters. We just got this Royal Jelly Pet Shampoo by Isle of Dogs, which helps with shedding and smells fantastic!

Oprah’s Touching Tribute to Her Fur Baby Sophie

Oprah did an episode on exposing puppy mills and dedicated the show to her beloved fur baby Sophie, who passed away last month. It was very touching.

George Lilytux

Little Lily’s Red Carpet Collection, inspired by this year’s Oscar best dressed, make the best wedding formal wear for fur babies. I guess more people are including dogs in their wedding and also those invited to weddings are also bringing their pet as their date. Little Lily especially made two George Lilytux in extra large sizes for Porky & Brownie. How cool is that?!

Porky at work

Porky hanging out at work at FunnyFur.com. This is the back office where Porky processes shipments and answers emails, phone calls. He is really big on customer service and a very diligent worker.

Porky helped a fellow Puggy customer test the size of this outfit. These Monkey Daze dog clothes fit Puggies very well. Porky and Brownie both love this Hippo Discovery Playmat, which entertains them all day at work when they are not busy helping customers.

Missing California…

We have been missing California and all the Pug groups, Pug parties, and our friends. I was able to get some old pictures from our very close Pug friends from our Pug playdate back in LA (back in 2005!) at Dog Zone dog beach in Long Beach. Porky was the only small dog who was swimming in the Pacific Ocean beach with no life jacket. He is so brave! We miss our Puggy friends so much and all the great fun activities for dogs! Houston doesn’t have too many social activity for Puggies.

Where is Everydoggy?

I am not sure what’s going on but we are noticing a lot of our Puggers are no longer online or have not posted in quite some time.  Is this a slow blogging time?   I suppose with the economy being down and all, these are tough times.  We have been so busy traveling and moving, so I totally understand the slow blogging.  But Suki and Joey’s blog was totaly removed!  What’s going on?
